Located just a few blocks from our office, this project was developed by a local neighborhood resident, demonstrating the potential of infill construction. Originally an oversized lot with an unused gravel parking area, the site has been transformed into a thriving residential space. The existing structure has been retained in its original location, preserving the neighborhood's character and history. The new development comprises three comfortable homes, seamlessly integrated into the community. The scale and architectural character of the building have been thoughtfully designed to blend harmoniously with the surrounding homes, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing streetscape. This project showcases the possibilities of utilizing underused spaces to create much-needed housing, contributing to the gentle density approach we advocate. It stands as a testament to how careful planning and community involvement can lead to successful urban regeneration, enhancing both the livability and aesthetics of the neighborhood.
