The UVIC Visualization Lab and Christine Lintott Architects (CLA) work in close collaboration, exploring ecological design and the integration of design practices with ecological realities. Our work focuses on recent and emerging developments in ecological design that show promise for improving the way that built environments function as part of, not separate from, ecological processes. We aspire to connect built environments, both conceptually and practically, to the evolving cultural and ecological realities that they are rooted in.
 
Our team brings together researchers, doctoral students, architects, and landscape architects; bridging academia and industry to develop a design language for mitigating and adapting to rapid environmental and ecological changes in built environments.
